If travelling by road:
From the North,
- Follow the A55 North Wales coast road from Chester until you almost reach Bangor.
- Look for the turn off for Caernarfon, the A487.
- Follow the A487 through Caernarfon from where it is signposted Porthmadog
- Simply stay on the A487 until you reach Brynkir.
- Just after leaving Brynkir take a right turn onto the B4411 signposted Criccieth
- After 5 miles you will descend into Criccieth and come to a main road junction.
- Allowing for traffic proceed straight on at this junction.
- Immediately after crossing the railway turn left into Mona Terrace which descends towards the sea.
- The Moelwyn is situated at the far end of Mona Terrace on the right hand side.
From the South, the Midlands and the East,
- Follow the A5 from Shrewsbury until you reach Corwen
- Just after Corwen take a left turn onto the A494 to Bala.
- Just as you enter Bala turn right onto the A4212
- Follow this road until it ends at the A470, turn right and follow this road all the way to Porthmadog.
- Follow the High Street through Porthmadog until you come to a roundabout, turn left signposted Criccieth.
- Keep on this road and after 5 miles you will enter Criccieth, wow! what a view.
- At the bottom of the hill, just opposite the petrol station turn left onto the promenade.
- Follow the promenade and as it starts to turn to the left and rise you will see the Moelwyn on your right hand side.

If travelling by Rail: Criccieth Station is served by the Cambrian Coast Line which connects via Shrewsbury and Birmingham from all parts of the country. the station is only a short walk through the park to the Moelwyn. If travelling by bus: Criccieth is well served by bus and coach routes with daily direct services linking us to Manchester, Leeds, Birmingham, London etc. for more details see www.nationalexpress.co.uk
